Contribute at least 3 merged pull requests

Technical Writing Track

Research and publish in-depth technical articles on QA engineering and AI testing. Your work appears under your byline on a platform read by thousands of engineers.

Growth & SEO Track

Drive organic growth for InnovateBits. Work on technical SEO, content gap analysis, keyword research, and help build the editorial calendar for the year.

What you'll achieve

Conduct a full SEO audit and present findings
Identify and prioritise 20+ content opportunities
Set up and interpret Google Search Console reports
Implement at least 5 on-page SEO improvements

Eligibility

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related programme

At least one programming language — JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java preferred

Strong written English communication skills

Self-directed and comfortable in an async, remote environment

Genuine interest in quality engineering, testing, or AI — hobbyist projects count

We don't require a degree — we look for curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in the craft of quality engineering.

Submit your application with CV, track preference, and a short (3–5 sentence) note on why you want this internship.

Screening call

30-minute video call to learn about your background, goals, and ask questions about the role.

Mini task

A 2–3 hour take-home task relevant to your track. We respect your time — it's scoped to be completable in an evening.

Final review

We review the task with you on a second call and make a decision within 5 business days.

Offer & start

Receive your offer, onboard with your manager, and start shipping in week one.

Common questions

Is the internship paid?

Yes. All tracks include a monthly stipend. Amount varies by location — confirmed at offer stage.

Can I do this part-time?

All internships are full-time (40 hrs/week). We want you fully immersed, not splitting focus.

Is this remote?

100% remote. We are async-first and have interns across multiple time zones.

When does the next cohort start?

We run cohorts in January, May, and September. Applications open 8 weeks before the start date.

Can it lead to a full-time role?

Strong interns are considered first for open full-time roles. Several of our team started as interns.
